Last Minute Everyday Meals - Part 2
Last Minute Everyday Meals - Part 2!
Monday April, 23, 2012 7:00pm - 9:00pm With Rania
This class is part two of our two part series, Last Minute Everyday Meals. In my previous description, I promised that I would take the stress out of everyday cooking and turn mealtime preparation into a fun activity. What I failed to mention was the fact that I was also arming you with ten new and exciting recipes that would promise to become all time family favorites. Frankly, tonight’s class also promises to become favorite recipes for not only the family, Monday through Friday, but also recipes for weekend entertaining. Weekends can be even busier than workdays when you have to cram activities and chores into two days that take most folks weeks to accomplish. Lamb Tagine with Couscous studded with Pistachios and Dried Cherries is exotic, yet ridiculously simple to prepare. Chicken Cacciatore may have taken your grandmother two days to put together, but baby, I’m here to promise a result in 45 minutes on the stove and only one skillet. Turkey Pot Pie uses a cooked turkey breast from the deli and store bought pie crust. Pasta Bolognese cooks in 45 minutes as opposed to the old method of 3 hours or longer…. Soy Glazed Salmon with Soba Noodles will eliminate the need for Chinese take-out. We’re covering a lot of territory tonight and all we ask is that you wear pants one size too big…. Much to eat – drink – learn and so much fun!
