Eric is our newest instructor at Rania’s Cooking School. He comes with a rich background in the culinary community, as he has been an executive chef starting at the Red Room in East Liberty and currently at the Cornestone Restaurant in Aspinwall for well over five years. He’s going to bring a lot to our table tonight both in instruction as well as a fabulous meal for us all to enjoy at the end of the class. His plan is to teach the most perfect dinner party menu for even the most novice cook to duplicate. Roasted Beet and Arugula Salad with Orange-Mint Vinaigrette finished with Pistachios, Fennel, Goat Cheese and local honey will start the evening off in style. Seared Pork Tenderloin with Jalapeno Blue Cheese Polenta Cake with Apple Cider Glaze paired with Cauliflower Puree with Basil Pesto screams “amazing” as the entrée for tonight’s party. S’mores Ice Cream with Caramelized Plains is the grand finale to a grand class. Rania will ply you with wine while Eric plies you with food. My God, life is soooooo good!
